Final Outcome Images

Inspired by Merry Alpern's work and the movies Rear Window and Disturbia, shows I have drawn a lot of inspiration from films. I took screenshots of the scenes that caught my attention. I quite liked the film snap shot effect. I got a grainy, blurry picture. It creates a sense of surveillance. I also went with the overexposed, oversaturated edit. I was influenced by Merry Alpern. With the dirty, dusty, grainy effect applied to her photos, her photographs seem more suggestive. It adds to the feeling of "lying in wait"
